Helping Kids Set Safe Boundaries
Holly’s House prevents abuse before it begins. Through Brave Boundaries, kids learn about developing healthy boundaries, identifying safe and unsafe behaviors and situations where boundaries need to be reinforced. Parents, caregivers, and educators provide valuable support to help keep kids safe and navigate the world around them. Holly’s House believes it is everyone’s responsibility to keep kids safe by working together to educate, empower, and prevent abuse. Owning this responsibility, Holly’s House provides prevention education free to Indiana schools, Prek-6th grade.
Who We Are
Holly’s House is a child advocacy center (CAC) located in Evansville, IN, serving the counties of Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Spencer, and Knox. We began working fifteen years ago to prevent the child abuse seen daily in our team’s investigations. Our team includes educators, social workers, therapists, forensic interviewers, and advocates, as well as partners in law enforcement, child welfare, prosecution, mental health, and medical clinicians. Our common thread is our passion for keeping kids safe in our communities.
What We Do
Our team of child abuse prevention specialists developed the Brave Boundaries curriculum, utilizing their combined expertise in the field of child protection, psychology, and education. Through school-based, virtual, and community-focused programming, we work to educate and empower individuals of all ages to recognize, interrupt, and report all forms of child abuse and neglect.

Brave Boundaries provides schools with a research and evidence-informed program implemented by experienced professionals dedicated to the safety and well-being of all students. Our curriculum was developed using engaging, multimodal, multi-session, and age-grade-level focused programming to help students recognize unsafe behaviors and situations. At the same time, we aim to encourage and empower students in demonstrating safe and healthy relationships and speaking up when boundaries have been crossed. Brave Boundaries meets the national best practices for prevention education, the National Children’s Alliance accreditation standards, and the Indiana Department of Education’s child abuse prevention mandate.
